FIRST 100 DAYS

During the First 100 Days my goal is to learn about the council and establish priorities for its success. I want to make sure both staff and volunteers are working together to move the council forward. Key areas of emphasis will be membership growth, unit service and continued success of Friends of Scouting.

First 100 Days: FAQ

INTRODUCTIONS

Meet with all staff within 15 days of arrival to set expectations they should have of me and that I will have for them.
Since COVID is an everyday reality, use technology in order to visit with all key volunteers at the district and council level within 45 days of arrival to become acquainted and learn their thoughts on the needs and priorities of the council. Find how I can help deliver the vision of the Patriots' Path Council.
Work to establish relationships with community leaders, meeting during the first 100 days to discuss how we can all work together to support the needs of today's youth.
Meet with key volunteers involved in Popcorn and Friends of Scouting to review how I might be able to support them in order to continue to grow both program.

REVIEW OPERATIONS

With safety being of the utmost importance. when able and appropriate visit district and council events to learn there role in the council's delivery of a quality program and begin to evaluate needs for the future.
Conduct a "ride-along" with field staff in order to understand each district in the council.
Working with Scout Executive to find ways to continue to enhance and provide program during the COVID Pandemic.

BEGINNING THE FUTURE

Work to develop staff goals that will help achieve council goals in 2021.
